* A collection of alternate versions of The Byrds' early masterpiece albums from 1965! * Shining 12-string guitar! Vivid studio works! * Also includes the making of "Mr. Tambourine Man"! * From Eternal Grooves' "ROCK OFF" series! The original American folk rock! This album includes rare recordings such as alternate versions from the recording sessions of The Byrds' first album "Mr. Tambourine Man" and their second album "Turn, Turn, Turn" held in a Hollywood studio in 1965. Roger McGuinn, the magician of the 12-string guitar. Gene Clark, a gifted songwriter. David Crosby, who later formed CSNY and became a Nishikawashi rock legend. Chris Hillman, who left his mark on the Flying Burrito Brothers and Manassas. The Byrds gave birth to such future rock legends. First, in the recording of "Mr. Tambourine Man" on January 20, 1965, which was the start of the legend, only Roger McGuinn, who played 12-string electric guitar, was able to participate, and the members added vocals to the backing performances of Hal Blaine (drums) and Leon Russell (kd), and "Mr. Tambourine Man" was completed. However, when the album was recorded three months later, the members performed well and showed their growth. From that session, seven different versions of songs are recorded, including the classic "I'll Feel a Whole Lot Better", "The Bells of Rhymney" which was used in the Beatles' "If You Love Me", and "It's No Use". From the recording of the second album, eight different versions from the official take are recorded from the session of the performance track before the vocals were added. From the sound source where various takes are layered, it is a lot of interesting takes before the final version. "Stranger in a Stranger Land" by Crosby, a song that was said to be a phantom song, is a historical number that led to psychedelic rock such as "Eight Miles High", but this album includes an early take that starts with a jam session. And finally, four takes are included from the session when "Mr. Tambourine Man" was recorded. On take 1, producer Terry Melcher stops the performance, and before take 2, there is a snare roll and a voice count that seems to be Hal Blaine. The warm performance of the Wrecking Crew, backing musicians who were highly valued by Phil Spector and the Beach Boys, is also impressive. When the Byrds' vocal harmonies are added, the Byrds sound appears in an instant. The moment when folk rock was born, which became a huge boom. This is a wonderful and valuable collection of recordings by The Byrds, who led American rock. The Japanese explanation of the situation at the time, episodes, songs, etc. is printed on the inner jacket.
