1938 BSA SCOUT Series 4 Four Seater Tourer Green with black interior. Overall the car is in good, sound condition as per the photos. Body, paintwork, chassis in good clean condition. Good hood and side-screens. Interior very good condition (fairly recently refurbished). Engine starts easily and runs well. Gearbox in good working order. Electric fan fitted. Wheels and tyres are in good condition. The 6 volt battery is in very good/almost new condition. The Clutch plate needs re-lining however.
Originally UK registered on 24th March 1938 (with its current reg no BMJ 493) , the car was repatriated by me from Holland in 2015 having spent a few years abroad, including a spell in a Swiss motor museum! While registering the car with DVLA in my name in 2015 (after importation), I was able to easily retain/re-instate the original UK registration number BMJ 493 as the car and registration number were fortunately still on the DVLA system.
