Vintage WRICO Lettering Guide Drafting Set with Pens & Templates
Wood-Regan Instrument Co., New York
Complete Set in Original Plastic / Bakelite Hard Case
A well-preserved and substantial WRICO lettering guide drafting set, representing a classic tool of mid-20th-century technical drawing, engineering, and architectural lettering. Produced by the Wood-Regan Instrument Company, WRICO systems were widely used prior to the adoption of CAD for creating precise, standardized lettering on plans, schematics, and signage.
This example is housed in a deep burgundy molded plastic case and includes a notably robust assortment of components, making it more complete than many surviving sets. Hard to see in pictures, but has a 'swirl' finish to it, some light scuff marks from use. Metal closure slides on front.
