Hydroxyapophyllite on Hematite

Description

The specimen has an iron ore rich matrix made up of bits of iron stone blended in with tiny hematite crystals. Then there is a deposit of hydroxyapophyllite, with tiny crystals blended into the ore mix as well as larger emphatic tabular crystals making the major display. The crystals reach up to 0.6cm on edge. There is some abrasions here and there.
