A fine quality porcelain figurine of a Wire Fox Terrier dog by Rosenthal Germany with a hallmark dating production to 1927. An old one! This gorgeous dog stands on a porcelain plinth in a relaxed pose. Fine detail and decoration make this an outstanding piece. Fully hallmarked, and impressed with the artist's name, Moldenhauer, and impressed model number 52, under the base. Measures 3 3/4" tall by 3 1/2" long. No chips, cracks, repairs or restorations as examined under black light and lighted magnification. One tiny fleck of coal debris from the old coal fired kilns present on the near side of the tail. Please enlarge and examine all photos carefully as they are considered part of the description. This figurine has been in my personal dog collection since I purchased it in 1992, kept behind glass in a display cabinet.
