We found no flaws to report in the business side; there are 2 faint dirty areas in the backing, one of them shown in pic # 23. That dirt seems to be just grayish dust and it should  be easy to remove by washing the quilt, but we have the impression the quilt itself hasn't been washed ever, so we left the dirty spots there for the next owners to consider if proceed to wash the quilt or just use it as is.

The backing has also some small brown spots, not visible on pic # 24.

The quilt has no odors.

It measures 74" by 63" across and weighs 3 1/2 lbs. unboxed. The bed is a queen, 80" by 60".

The piecing of the blocks was done by machine; the quilting was done by hand.

The floral printed fabrics used to make the stars are, in our opinion, feed sack scraps.

The pattern has several names, LeMoyne Star is one of them, favored by quilters in The Louisiana:

From Wikipedia:

"Jean-Baptiste Le Moyne de Bienville (1680–1767), known as the "Father of Louisiana," was a French Canadian explorer and governor who established French control in the Gulf Coast. Along with his brother Pierre Le Moyne d'Iberville, he explored the Mississippi River and founded New Orleans in 1718, later making it the colonial capital."

The batting of the quilt we believe to be cotton, but there are no holes that we can use to confirm that.

We combine shipping.
