On this night, the HARTFORD WHALERS would CRUSH the Montreal Canadiens by a score of 9-3 handing the Canadiens one of the worst losses in their franchise history ! The Whalers were led by HOF Great DAVE KEON with a GOAL and ASSIST in the win.
