Let's try this again....this plane sold a couple of days ago. The buyer immediately paid. I immediately contacted the buyer thanking him for his purchase and let him know I would be shipping in the next day or two after acquiring a box and bubble wrap. I was then notified by eBay they would not release the funds that the buyer paid until I shipped the plane.

Folks, I don't do business that way, and I know of no other person/business who would ship or otherwise handover a product without being paid for it first. Can you imagine shopping at Walmart and not paying for an item as you drove away....that's called shoplifting and if you offered the excuse that I wanted to make sure the product was as advertised on the box before paying for it....the jail would erupt in laughter as they locked the cell door. If you are interested in purchasing this plane, you will need to make sure eBay pays me and allows me to ship using UPS via my account at "Pirate Ship", a shipping discounter I have trusted for years. As noted, its currently available elsewhere and I reserve the right to end the listing should it sell on another "Marketplace".....

I have been a seller on eBay since 1998, back when you needed to mail your payment to the seller before they shipped/delivered the product. I once had a buyer in Japan send me 8 crisp one-hundred-dollar bills for some Royal Copenhagen Christmas plates. He received his delicate plates in pristine condition.

My integrity is not for sale....PERIOD!

For Sale is a Parkzone "Albatros" WWI Warbird RC Plane I'm the 2nd owner and have never crashed it. It does have its share of hangar rash, wing tip wear, wrinkles, and some glue....not unexpected since this model was discontinued back in 2012 I believe. They are getting harder and harder to find with a New in the Box example recently selling on eBay for 585.00 dollars plus shipping. It comes with its original motor, ESC, Servos, and a Spektrum AR600 receiver which I believe is original. (they sold an RTF and a BnF version) When it was shipped to me the elevator got damaged resulting in a crease across the width of the foam. I made a repair with Foam-Tac and I don't believe it ever affected the flight of the plane. Originally, the Aileron servo wires were run in a slot created in the underside of the wing, which ran to the receiver inside the fuselage. This slot was covered with some sort of tape by the manufacturer; it color matched the underside of the wing. This plane has two sets of servo wires per servo, one is original and one has been added later. When I first got the plane I hooked up the original wires to the receiver and the ailerons didn't work. When I hooked up the replacement wires the ailerons worked just fine. I never removed the original-colored tape covering up the wire slots, nor removed the servos to see why the original wires don't actuate the servos. The lower wing has a carbon fiber rod running inside a similar groove created on the underside of the wings by the manufacturer. This plane has had glue used to fill up that groove in the foam. Not sure why, I don't see any evidence of a broken wing or damage to the landing gear. Cosmetically, lets just say it could of been done better imho.... This is not a starter plane, as noted in the video you have some serious rudder control and rather small ailerons....I highly recommend programming a "mix" between the rudder/ailerons to help you fly. The receiver doesn't have a gyro so be prepared to learn how to land this bipe "on the fly" so to speak on a breezy day.... :-) So, the asking price may seem steep but when you consider this plane was discontinued almost 15 years ago and is very hard to find, how can you put a price on it to begin with ? If you want the plane, money has less importance when scarcity plays a role. (for me any ways) Also, please keep in mind the market it is being offered on will charge me 15% of the total, including 15% of the shipping costs and taxes. Plus, I am paying to ship it....I have the costs of a proper box measuring 48" by 16" by 16", quality bubble wrap to protect it, my time to unassemble it, and gas money if I have to bring it to UPS.

It is currently being offered elsewhere for a discount, including free delivery within 3 hours of St. Louis. The advantage for myself and the buyer in that situation is the plane does not need to be completely disassembled and reassembled when you get it. Literally plug and play should someone reach out to me to acquire it thru other means.... ;-) Should that happen, I will end the listing.
