Original full ticket stub from a Chicago White Sox game at Comiskey Park (White Sox Park), September 29, 1971. Lower Deck box seat, Section 22, Row 2, Seat 5. Face value $2.50. Printed by Arcus Ticket Co. of Chicago on bright salmon/pink card stock — one of the most visually distinctive ticket colors of the era.

The 1971 White Sox were managed by Chuck Tanner and featured third baseman Bill Melton, who that season led the entire American League with 33 home runs — the first White Sox player ever to win an AL home run title. Other notable players included Carlos May, Tom Bradley, and Wilbur Wood. September 29 would have been one of the final games of the regular season.

The rain check portion is intact. The reverse side lists Arcus Ticket Co. game times: Day Games 1:15 PM, Twi-Night Doubleheaders 6:00 PM, Night Games 8:00 PM. Two punch holes are present, consistent with use at the gate.

A vivid, well-preserved piece of early-1970s Chicago baseball history, now over 50 years old. Perfect for collectors of vintage White Sox memorabilia or South Side baseball history.
