Sale is for one (1) antique 12k gold filled “fancy link” pocket watch chain. Clasp is stamped “1/20 12k GF”. No other stamps or hallmarks observed. Length of chain is approximately 12”. This chain is not magnetic, spring ring clasp is magnetic.
This is considered an “antique and collectible” pocket watch chain. Having the spring ring, dog clip with the “Fancy Link” design of the chain seem to be typical characteristics of pocket watch chains of the late 19th to early 20th century (c. 1890–1910).
Chain has been sitting in a jewelry box and untouched for over 50 years. It appears to have the typical aging and patina primarily due to oxidation and tarnish that has built up over many decades. This chain has not been cleaned beyond a quick wipe with a polishing cloth.
