    How to judge whether the shock absorber is broken?

     

    • Increased vehicle vibration: A severe bumpy ride when driving over potholes.
    • Poor high-speed stability: The vehicle exhibits fishtailing, significantly increased body roll, or steering wheel vibration.
    • Abnormal tire wear: "Wave-like" wear appears on the tire surface due to prolonged unstable contact with the road surface.
    • Recommendation: Shock absorbers are generally recommended to be replaced in pairs to ensure vehicle balance and safety.

    Installation Precautions:

     

    • Shock absorbers are wear parts. It is recommended to replace them in pairs, left and right, on the same axle to avoid uneven suspension stress or vehicle pull-off caused by replacing only one side.
    • Prepare dedicated spring compressors, torque wrenches, etc. Do not use pneumatic or electric wrenches to directly tighten the piston rod nuts, as this may damage the piston rod.
    • When removing the shock absorber of the original car, the position corresponding to the top rubber and the spring should be marked first.When replacing the shock absorber, make sure the top glue is aligned with the original mark of the spring.Failure to do so may result in abnormal sound in the suspension system.

     

    Inspection:

     

    • Suspension inspection: After installation, manually shake the vehicle to check for any abnormal noises, indicating improper installation or uneven stress.
    • Low-speed test drive: Drive at low speed to check for abnormal bouncing, body roll, or abnormal noises.
    • Pay particular attention to whether the bouncing speed is excessively fast when driving over bumpy roads.
    • Bolt re-inspection: After the test drive, check all bolts again to ensure they are not loose.
