Up for your consideration is this vintage cigar store trade coin or token.
It is marked Jack Pflager V in trade. The other side reads: Jack Pflager V Grand and Morrison .
It measures about 3/4" in diameter.
On March 17, 1928 the J.D. Pflager Cigar Store was the first store to open on the ground floor of the yet to be completed Weatherly Building. Jack Pflager (real name John Dennis Pflager) claimed to have occupied this same location since 1911, seventeen years prior the Weatherly Building being built. Jack offered cigars, cigarettes, tobacco, candies, newspapers and magazines for sale to his customers.
It is in very nice vintage condition.
