Metal Drive Shaft: A hidden internal component (not fully visible here) that connects the reamer to the power hub of a KitchenAid stand mixer. Very good vintage condition. Clean and odor-free. There was some tiny chipping on the edge of the glass bowl that was easily smoothed out with glass file. Reamer spins easily. Drive shaft is very sturdy.
