John Young lived in Hawaii for over 45 years. 
He was often referred to as King Kamehameha's best friend, and advisor. 
He was the Grandfather of Queen Emma
and the Great Grandfather of Prince Albert Kamehameha.

His Hawaiian nickname 'Olohana means 'all hands' 
as referring to 'all hands on deck' or 'all hands need to help'.
Very important figure in Hawaii's History.
