Original early WWII first pattern Hawley M1 helmet liner with rayon webbing and sweatband. The original fixed leather chinstrap is unbroken, though fragile.  It is loose enough to be placed over the brim of a steel shell.  The front of the liner has a USMC First Sergeant rank, and an unknown marking in red (maybe a kid's attempt at a Ford V8 logo?).  Age of these markings is unknown.  Moderate condition with some crushing and cracking. Sweatband snaps are pulled through on the front.

This liner will be shipped in a junk M1 or euroclone shell for safety, so international shipping will be expensive.

No returns accepted.

Payment due immediately upon purchase.  International buyers: Do NOT ask me to lie on custom's forms.  It is up to you (the purchaser) to pay any fees due upon import to your country.  International shipping via USPS.
