Verkaufe diese Ovation Elite mit der Modelnummer 1768, das ist die Version mit den Soundholes und erhöhter Verzierung. Der OP24 macht einfach DEN Ovation Sound im positiven Sinne. 

Ich habe gesehen dass es gerade von Ovation einen Koreanischen Nachbau in der Pro-Serie dieses Modells gibt, der hat aber nicht viel mit dem Original zu tun (andere Hölzer, anderer Kunststoff, andere Mechaniken, anderer Pre-Amp).

Ich möchte mal ganz generell sagen dass die alten USA Modelle, diese ist von 1990, einfach mal mit den Celebrity  Modellen nicht viel zu tun haben. Diese USA Modelle klingen Akustisch und Elektrisch einfach richtig gut, nicht zu vergleichen mit dem Kunststoff Sound der Celebrity Modelle.

Wenn ich die Gitarre Soundmäsig z.B. mit einer D-28 vergleiche, dann ist sie zuerst mal wesentlich voller und im positiven Sinn bassiger. Anstelle von klirrigen Höhen gibt es Kristallklare Höhen und einen deutlichen Mittenbereich. Elektrisch einfach so wie man Ovations von den großen Bühnen kennt, ich denke die großen Piezoelemenete in Kombination mit dem Pre-Amp machen den Unterschied.

Es gibt natürlich nicht nur Vorteile. Diese Gitarre hat es nur schwach getroffen, es gibt aber einen kleinen Riss in der Decke, ausgehend von der Brücke. Außerdem möchte ich nicht verschweigen das die Decke etwas gewellt ist. Es gibt Detailfotos davon.

Nicht schön, aber Stabil. Ich habe die Gitarre seit ca.15 Jahren, in der Zeit ist da überhaupt nichts passiert.

Sound oder Bespielbarkeit leiden natürlich nicht darunter. 

Der Zustand von Elektrik und Bünden ist tabellos, die Mechaniken sind noch die originalen goldenen Schaller – und sie laufen noch wie eine eins.

Zu Gitarre gibt es noch den Originalen Ovation Koffer in bestem Zustand.

I've seen that Ovation currently has a Korean-made replica of this model in their Pro series, but it doesn't have much in common with the original (different woods, different plastic, different tuners, different preamp).

Generally speaking, the older USA models, this one from 1990, simply don't have much in common with the Celebrity models. These USA models sound really good, both acoustically and electrically, incomparable to the plasticky sound of the Celebrity models.

If I compare the guitar's sound to, for example, a D-28, it's significantly fuller and, in a good way, bassier. Instead of harsh highs, there are crystal-clear highs and a pronounced midrange. Electrically, it sounds just like the Ovations you hear on the big stages. I think the large piezo pickups combined with the preamp make all the difference.

Of course, it's not all good news. This guitar has only been through minor damage, but there's a small crack in the top, starting at the bridge. I also want to mention that the top is slightly warped. I have detailed photos of this.

Not pretty, but it's sturdy. I've had the guitar for about 15 years, and nothing has happened to it in that time.

The sound and playability aren't affected at all.

The electronics and frets are in excellent condition, and the tuners are still the original gold Schallers – and they work perfectly.

The guitar also comes with the original Ovation case in excellent condition.
