This is a lovely vintage Y2K Topshop envelope skirt in the prettiest mint green linen, with delicate floral embroidery across the front. It has that early-2000s feel that sits somewhere between sweet and slightly romantic, and the wrap-style “envelope” front gives it a really flattering shape when worn.

The linen is a soft mint green and the embroidery at the front adds just enough detail without overwhelming it. It’s one of those skirts that feels very easy to wear but still special. When I first saw it in the vintage shop it immediately reminded me of a skirt from the Vivienne Tam Spring 2000 collection, which is exactly why I picked it up in the first place.

There isn’t a visible size label inside — either it’s missing or I somehow completely missed it — so I’m going by measurements. It would roughly sit around a UK 12 but please go by the measurements rather than that guess. The waist measures about 41 cm across laid flat and the length is about 58 cm.

Condition is really lovely overall. At some point before it came to me the button must have come off and it was reattached with pink thread. It’s actually very discreet and you can hardly see it, but I always like to mention these little things so there are no surprises. Otherwise it’s in beautiful condition and ready to wear.

Even though it’s Topshop, I’ve genuinely never come across another one like it. It’s one of those pieces that feels a bit special and a bit unexpected when you find it.
