THE BETTER HALF comic strip, created and originally

illustrated by Bob Barnes, was in print from 1956 to 2014.

Others contributing to this stip, after Barnes' death in 1970, 

included his wife Ruth, Dick Rogers, Vinnie Vinson and

 Randy Glasbergen. Glasbergen, using the pseudonym

"Jay Harris," remained with the strip

to the conclusion.
