This Dug Dropped .56 Cal. Spencer Bullet was found in late 1970s and is in good condition. Most of the cartridge has disintegrated but a small portion still remains around the bottom of the bullet. This bullet was used in the Spencer Carbine which was a favorite for the Federal Cavalry. According to verbal history it was found close to the Battle of Kennesaw Mountain, GA.
