You are bidding on a Vintage Miniature Armchair.
Salesmans Sample Morris Chair Oak Leather Arts and Crafts Chair circa 1900's
*****************************
The object shown in the image is a miniature Mission-style armchair, sometimes called a child's
chair or a salesman's display model, dating from around 1900’s (Morris chair).
Its proportions are exceptional. It has a seat with cushions upholstered in soft,
tufted fabric, padded with the original straw in good condition—a common feature of early
20th-century furniture—a thick oak frame, and a rocking back. This style is characterized by its
straight lines, vertical slats, and solid wood construction, often in oak.
Measure, 15" X tall X 12" X 9½".
Note : The cushions are missing some buttons.
