Self Fluxing: Class: BCuP-2 brazing alloys rods. Contents: Phosphor (P): 6.6-7.4%; Copper (Cu): Rest. This brazing alloy is close to eutectic crystal composition. It is self fluxing and do not need any brazing flux when soldering copper to copper or copper to brass joints, while for brazing brass to brass parts, brazing flux is recommended for best results.
Quantity: Each pack contains 21 sticks of 14" long brazing rods, total 0.5 pound in weight.
Best Performances: Solidus Temperature: 1310°F / 710°C, Liquidus Temperature: 1508°F / 820°C. Recommended joint clearance: 0.002"/0.007", Fluid Rating: The brazing rods contain lesser phosphors, resulting a much better plastic performances and a little higher melting points.
Versatile: A popular and economic solution for HVAC, Plumbing and Mechanical repairing. Ideal for gas welding, MIG and TIG welding, contact welding, HF brazing and some furnace welding. Perfect for brazing Copper to Copper, or Brass and Bronze joints in A/C, freezer, evaporator, heat exchange, water heater and etc. Cannot be used to weld iron or steel parts.
