Franciscan Montego 11" Lidded Casserole

This is a large, round, heavy Franciscan covered casserole dish that was produced from 1967 to 1968. It is part of the Fashion Manor line and was specifically produced for sale for JC Penny.  It is made from ironware and has a high glaze. The bottom deep casserole dish is speckled green with a speckled beige interior. The cover and handle are speckled beige. The outer edge of the cover has a colorful flower design that consists of tiny flowers in pink, blue, and orange colors over a darker green. The green leaves & accent ring complement the green base. It is a 3 quart casserole.

Casserole: ~ 3" H x 11" Diameter. 

In excellent vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks or scratches.  The colors are intact and bright. The glaze is glossy. Please view the pictures.
