Remarkable handcrafted piece from the early 20th Century, featuring a very detailed, handcarved relief of Jesus Christ holding a book, with relief outlined with a braided rope design.  It is mounted on a handcrafted written grid with painted white floral designs.  Very good condition for age, with relief excellent, and cross showing age related wear, but complete.  The piece retains it's original wall hanger on reverse.  Please see pics for further description and condition.
