This sale is for the November 25, 1945 issue of The American Weekly. This newspaper Magazine seems devoted to neautiful women and the lighter side of life. What does that mean? Well, look at the cover image--the perfectly made-up party  girl with the bobbed blonde hair do. Her party mask is a black-faced Aunt Jemima mask!  Let the good times roll... Need I even mention the "Spirit of the Mardi Gras" emblem in the lower right corner? Times were different. And if you want to explore that idea further, then you should buy this newspaper!

Inside the magazine, I love how the ads sing you the product's radio jingle, as in "Super Suds, Super Suds, Floods of Suds for Dishes and Duds"! Sing it! Capitol Records is advertising albums of 78rpm disks for $2.50 each. Stories include edgy romances like "Love in Jail". And in the True Crime section we get "The Torment of Abby McFarland" with a selection of undoutedly tormenting images

The American Weekly is in large, half-newspaper format, about 40 pages long. It is quite readable and not fragile.

No reserve.
Buyer pays $5 flat rate mailing and I pay the rest.
