This item is extremely rare. It looks similar to a salesman’s miniature sample hat; however, it is marked “Glenmore” on the inside. These hats were distributed only as promotional items in the 1950s to be used at bottle toppers or decorative lids. Glenmore distilleries used the hats to promote bourbon and whiskey. Glenmore Distilleries produced bourbons, such as: Kentucky Tavern, Yellowstone Bourbon, Mint Springs, and Old Glenmore. They are produced whiskeys, such as: Old Thompson and Tom Hardy.
