This pen is quite heavy, weighing in at 1.3 ounces.  It is 5-1/2" long when the ink cartridge is inside the pen X 1/2" across the top.  Turn the top portion of the pen in either direction to expose the ink cartridge.

I have tested the pen and cannot get it to write.  According to another source, replacement ink cartridges should be available at most office supply stores.  The cartridge that is currently in the pen is unbranded.

This pen is beautiful but there is a crack in both the top and bottom portions (see pictures).  The cracks are perfectly straight so I believe that this is where the wood was originally sealed into a round shape.  The cracks are not easily seen - I needed to look quite closely to see them.
