How to Replace Blend Door Actuator

STEP 1: REMOVE THE LOWER DASH PANEL OR GLOVE BOX

STEP 2: REMOVE THE DOOR ACTUATOR

STEP 3: REMOVE THE ACTUATOR

STEP 4: TURN THE AIR DOOR PIVOT

STEP 5: MATCH THE NEW ACTUATOR

STEP 6: INSTALL THE NEW AIR BLEND DOOR ACTUATOR

STEP 7: REINSTALL THE COVER OR GLOVE BOX

 

 

Install notes

12mm socket to remove the gas pedal assembly mount bolts

(2) for access to the actuators mounting screws

(3) - Phillips #1. No need to align the blend door arm perfectly with actuator arm position. It has an open channel groove to catch the arm pin.
