The neck (sao) connects without any issues.

There are some scuff‑like marks and tape residue remaining.

Near the saruo area, the wood appears to have been replaced; the lower neck section is a different color, and there is a visible gap at the joint.

No kinboshi, kinzai, or grooves were observed.

One string is missing.

The body (do) has skins on both sides, but part of the skin is starting to peel.

There are no gaps at the corners of the body.

This is a maru‑uchi style body.

Based on the thickness and length, it is likely a chūzao shamisen.
