This sale is for an incredibly rare one of a kind strange, yet unique and mysterious in every way, piece done by Seattle based artist, Gordon S. Brown (1926–2010). He was a Seattle-based artist and adventurer known for abstract mixed-media, assemblages, and collages that incorporated found materials. His work often featured wood, metal, and fabric, inspired by global travels, particularly the "Cargo Cult" of the Pacific.
I purchased this piece from an older couple that was downsizing to a smaller home & didn’t have nearly the room for all of their art so they had to sell most of it off.
