Offered for sale is an authentic antique J.H. Field wooden ice cream freezer tub, dating to the late 19th–early 20th century.


This is the outer freezer barrel only, exactly as originally made. This model never had a dasher or permanent crank assembly. It was designed to hold ice and rock salt around a removable metal ice cream can, which was a separate component.
