This genuine DT Swiss freehub body conversion kit is designed for Shimano Micro Spline MTB applications and compatible DT Swiss rear hubs that use a 3-pawl freehub system. It is suitable for quick-release axle hubs and provides a reliable replacement or conversion solution where a compatible end cap is already available.

The 3-pawl freehub design is commonly found on many DT Swiss complete wheels. For higher-end complete wheels or aftermarket DT Swiss hubs such as the 180, 240 or 350 series that use the ratchet system, a ratchet-specific freehub kit is required. If you are unsure which freehub system your hub uses, please refer to DT Swiss guidance before purchasing.

Installation does not require specialist tools. In some cases, a bench vice with soft jaws may be helpful if removing an existing end cap that is tight to remove by hand.
