Here we have a lot of 6 very-vintage polychrome transferware 3 3/8" round butter pats in the Buttercup pattern from Spode Copeland (England.) Earthenware. Fluted rim with basketweave embossment; finely scalloped edge. Old mark, with these specific pieces coming from early in the 1924-1992 production era. Very fresh and clean pieces, in excellent to minty very-vintage/nearly antique condition. One has a clear, completely colorless, scratch to the glaze, and one has a few bits of completely clear, unstained, crazing to the back. Otherwise, there are no signs of use -- no chips, cracks, silver/gray utensil marks, or stains. See our store for more pieces in this pattern, including square luncheon plates, cream soup bowls with underplates, crescent salad plates, and fruit bowls.

We have many more pieces in this pattern in our store, to which we add new inventory daily, and we're always happy to combine shipping at actual cost. When purchasing multiple items, please choose "ADD TO CART" instead of "buy now" and check-out from the cart when you are completely done shopping with us. If the eBay checkout fails to properly combine your orders or, as it is very apt to do, overcharges you for combined shipping, we will issue a refund for the difference between what you paid for shipping, and the actual cost of the shipping, on the day that we ship your package. (We don't find out the actual cost of combined shipping until we purchase the shipping label.)

We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report. Corndogcache is a 100% non-smoking environment, and we'll let you know if any of our vintage items smell like it (or anything else) from activities they may have been involved in before they came to us.

The Fine Print:

  • We expect payment within 1 day of purchase. If you're waiting for other auctions to end so that you can combine shipping, shoot us a message to let us know.
  • If you're unable to pay within terms, please reach out with your Plan B. Things happen. Especially these days. So just shoot us a message.
  • We don't accept buyer-remorse returns but we will grant you the use of our description and photos so that you can re-ebay the item yourself.
  • Although we don't accept buyer-remorse returns, reach out if you're unhappy with your purchase! If we messed up -- everybody does -- give us a chance to fix it. We promise it was unintentional, and we'll do what we can to make it right.
