We have been trying to find her online for a very long time now!
Looked at doll data base sites, google image search and others with no luck.
Here is what we know:
This was my gramma's doll (dad's mom). My mom remembers it at her house back in the early 1950s. She had it before mom met dad!!
There are no manufacture markings on her: nothing on back of neck, bottom of feet, etc.
There is a strange plastic button on her lower back (see pic #4). We don't know what this is- maybe a pull string was here?
She is made of a soft rubber, plastic and/or composition material. I'm clueless about this as I don't do dolls so am not sure!
She stands 13" tall.
Brown eyes and hair. Eyes still open and close.
Gramma called her "Caroline" but nothing comes up with that name and her picture.
Gramma kept her on her bed every day!
Her dresses are made to flare around her
while she is sitting.
She has three dresses! The green one was her special Christmas one!
Velcro on one dress that I believe gramma added later? This dress is the main pictured and may be the dress she came in!
She comes with a white petticoat and pair of panties.
This doll has no socks or shoes.
There is one small mark on the back of her right elbow- other than that, she is in excellent condition!
This lovely little lady needs a new home!!
