BRAND NEW

This item is from The Royal Mint celebrating half a century of supersonic travel with Concorde – one of the biggest British achievements to ever be remembered on the world stage. This item has an exclusive limited-edition presentation of only 2,026.

A number of Concorde’s engineers played an important role in designing the shape of the original 50p piece – a coin we have seen continuously since it was introduced into circulation in 1969, showing off its distinctive seven-sided curve.

This brand new coin design has been created in partnership with British Airways and Airbus, with unveiling at the current home of Concorde – the Bristol Aerospace Museum. Its reverse portrays Concorde in flight against a backdrop of a split-flap departure board, with bold lettering across the centre. Beneath the new coin is an original 1976 50p circulated coin, reflecting its 50-year legacy from first flight to the current day.

The coins are encapsulated in hard clear plastic, which are held within a detailed and colourful illustrative fold-out card booklet, detailing Concorde’s creation trough to its retirement in 2003. The booklet is protected within a resealable cellophane sleeve.

The coins and booklet are in PRISTINE CONDITION.

The item will be sent well packaged in a postal box as shown. Ready for quick dispatch.

This is a perfect piece of memorabilia for any aviation enthusiast.

All of my coin items are kept in cardboard boxes, which are stored in a cool and dry environment. I never use them for display purposes. All silver coins are sealed in hard plastic capsules, while all coin packs are sealed within clear cellophane. None of my coins are ever directly touched.

Thanks for looking.
