That’s one of the legendary watches made by Tudor. It’s the first ‘Snowflake’ and the first Submariner with a date function. It was launched in 1969 alongside ref 7016, the same watch without the date function.

The 7021 was a widely issued military watch, supplied to various naval forces, including the French Marine Nationale. The ‘snowflake’ design of the hour hand was a request from the French Navy.

This reference marked a paradigm shift in Tudor’s design identity, as it represented the brand’s first complete departure from traditional Rolex iconography.

All of these make this model highly collectible and extremely sought-after by collectors. Also, the 7021 far more rare than the equivalent Rolex 5513 or 1680, because they were manufactured in lower quantities!

This particular watch is in stunning condition. It's one of the earliest, manufactured in the fourth quarter of 1970. It’s probably the best example I’ve ever seen in more than 30 years of collecting vintage watches!

Also, it's a FULL SET, the most complete set you'll ever find! It has both the original boxes, the original warranty from 1971 in Italian, the translation of the warranty, the red tag, the Tudor Submariner anchor and the very rare cigarretes cardboard inlet also in Italian!

The last phrase on this cardboard translates to 'Remove the cardboard and the watch holder and you have a cigarette case.' :-)

As you can see, the tritium on the dial, hands and the bezel pip aged evenly to a super nice pumpkin colour.

The case is in excellent condition. The original bezel insert with fat font is in very good condition and it works very smooth. The original matte dial and hands are stunning, no cracks or any kind of issues with the tritium!

The original folded 12 links 7836 bracelet has the correct 258 endlinks, it’s in excellent conditition with almost no strech, it fits a 20cm wrist!

The watch was professionally serviced in 05.2023, unworn since, and it works perfect, as you can see on the picture! There are some other watchmaker's marks inside the case back, this watch has been serviced periodically.

The 2484 movement is very clean, it works excellent, you can see the performance on the timegrapher.

General terms and conditions:

*I describe my watches with honesty and the best of my knowledge, I want all my buyers to have a smooth, transparent and pleasant transaction. If you have questions or other requests, please ask me before you buy. I don’t accept returns, partial refunds or buyer's remorse, so, if you are not sure you want to buy one of my watches, please don’t do it.

**You are buying a vintage watch, you can’t expect to look as new unless is stated in the description. Pictures are part of the description, please study them carefully! Generally speaking, the watches are looking much better in real life than in the pictures because of the camera lens which pops out details that can’t be seen with the naked eye. If it’s something misrepresented by me, just send me a message, I will really appreciate your contribution. Vintage watches are not water protected, I don’t offer any guarantee about this. Vintage mechanical watches are not running like a Quartz, please do not expect to be perfect even if they are serviced and very well taken care of. The performance on the timegrapher must not be taken as a guarantee for future functionality. Although I pack my watches very carefully, issues may appear during shipping on long distances, the most common is the watch magnetisation, but, being sensitive and complex movements, in rare occasions other adjustments should be made by an experienced watchmaker. I am not responsible of ANY customs/import taxes.

***Please refrain from making ridiculous and uneducated offers. Check the market prices first. I am a deal maker, but only with serious people.
