(Please see notes below about sizing - which may surprise you!)

BABETTE San Francisco (the shuttered San Francisco-based designer brand) deep purple cotton-cashmere knit, drapey, long-sleeved cardigan sweater.  A wonderful piece to dress up a look, the beautifully engineered open sweater features a shawl collar and 2 roomy relaxed patch pockets. The sweater also features a long waterfall silhouette. Hand wash cold; lay flat to dry.

Babette's samples are usually marked "Small" or "One Size," and can be generally a good fit on a medium sized to large woman!  Flexible and generous in sizing, with the elastic and pleats!  Please check measurements carefully!  (I have found the samples marked "small" to be quite a bit larger than the regular inventory marked "small.")

Marked size:  "2"

Bust:  Measuring from underarm seam to underarm seam, across the back, unstretched - 18 inches.

Total length: 25" - 36"  (Asymmetric hemline)

Shoulder seam to sleeve edge: 31 inches

Deep purple.  Some of the photos are lightened to show the knit!  Color is evenly distributed, though the light catches it here and there in the photos

BABETTE

*About Babette from Wikipedia: "Babette Pinsky is an American clothing designer known for creating Babette, a defunct line of upscale women's clothing produced and designed by Pinsky in Oakland, California and sold across the United States in department stores, boutique shops and an eponymous chain of Babette stores. Pinsky owned and managed the business in partnership with her husband, Steven Pinsky. They closed the business in 2016."

*About Babette from SF Gate: "The core Babette customer is arty and well traveled, with an income sizable enough to afford a $260 top or a $450 coat. The forgiving nature of the fabric and the simple silhouettes of her pieces work on most frames. "You can walk into my dressing room and there will be a 6-foot-tall woman and little mini thing, and they can both wear the same outfit."
