 The Registered letter was sent from the post office of the village of PEREMOHA (Pobeda) of the Kyiv region (Baryshevsky district).

Historical context: Border defense of Kyiv. The village of Peremoga (Baryshevsky district) is a landmark in the history of the defense of the capital in the spring of 2022. It was this village that became the last point of the advance of Russian troops on the eastern approaches to Kyiv. Here, Ukrainian forces blew up a strategically important bridge across the river, occupied a blind defense and finally stopped the enemy. Sending a letter from this place, bearing a prophetic name, symbolizes the steadfastness of the defenders of Kyiv.

Personal history (Provenance):

The letter has a deep personal connotation. It was sent to the sender's daughter-in-law, who at that moment was under forced evacuation in Germany. This is news from home, from the village that became the shield of the capital, relatives who escaped from the war abroad.

Philatelic and documentary details:

The symbolism of franking: A used stamp hitch with a tractor pulling a tank is a plot that has become a symbol of civil resistance. Sending this stamp from the village where the tanks actually stopped creates a unique semantic card maximum.

"Tet-Besh" franking: To pay the tariff, not just a standard series of stamps is used, but a vertical coupler "tête-bêche".

In this configuration, the stamps with the "Tractor" plot are mutually inverted relative to each other. This is a rare and valuable method of franking by collectors, possible only thanks to the special layout of the stamp sheet of this issue.

Toponymy: The village of Peremoga as the last line of defense.

Plot: A brand with a trophy tank, sent from the scene of real battles.

Human destiny: The bond of a war-separated family (Kievshchyna — evacuation to Germany).

This is not an artificially created philatelic souvenir, but a living history documented by postage stamps and a fiscal receipt.

Greeting "Good evening, we are from Ukraine!" became iconic in 2022 after the russian military invasion of Ukraine. Today, journalists, officials and military personnel start their broadcasts with this phrase, it sounds in musical tracks.
