Antique Chinese Nanking crackle-glazed porcelain vase and cover from the late Qing Dynasty period, circa 1890  to the early 20th Century sometimes referred to as the Republic period.

Blue and white porcelain baluster vase with a private kiln seal mark to the base.  According to AI the mark is identifiable as standard Chinese script and can be read as "Hua guan tang zhi" which translates to "Made by Huaguangtang" or "Made for the Hall of Glorious Light".  

Crackle glaze finish with faux bronze bands to neck, rim and cover with a total height 21cm.  Traditional hand painted design of butterflies, a peacock and flowering shrubs / trees.  Foo Dog or Kylin finial surmounted to the cover. 

Condition.  Repairs have been carried out to the lid and top rim of the vase, see photos.  otherwise this quality display piece is in good antique condition.
