A vintage 1977 first American edition, third print hardcover copy of J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Silmarillion" with the fold-out map.  The jacket has wear from shelf storage and there is a smudge on the front flyleaf page.  The book cover is in good condition with no spots or stains and minimal wear.  The rear map is not torn and is still attached well to the last page.  There is no written on, torn, folded or missing pages.  There is some discoloration to the pages that can be seen when the book is closed - please see the photos.
