This item is not glow in the dark, they contain uranium which reacts to UV light (shown here under 395nm). The uranium is added during the manufacturing process as it adds the green/yellow colour.  As you can see from the photos, when placed next to a Geiger counter they emit a small amount of radiation, these emit about the same amount as your granite work surface in your kitchen! Background radiation is around 20-50cpm to give you an idea of how weak it is, they are perfectly safe.
