A fine example of a Messenger's oil lamp standing 24" (61cm) The fawn etched shade looks to be quite old and has a nice flower design, but does have a chip on the fitter rim and can be seen in the pictures. It has been dismantled, cleaned, polished, lubricated, and re-assembled so is now very shiny and parts move with ease including the snuffer workings.
