The "ebayPRYANKEE" watermark shown across the image is NOT on the actual photo. This was simply added to the ebay image to keep others from copying without permission.
Tonight, in separate auctions, I will be listing a large collection of original photographs taken in the late 1880's in and around Montreal. They were all found in an old photography envelope labeled: "OTTAWA RIVER AND VICINITY / Fraser's Landing."
These photos are all from a local Florida estate, and fresh to the market. I believe many, if not all, are unpublished views. Although the photographer is unidentified, he or she was quite talented, as most of the images have excellent focus and contrast.
This is not a later copy or reprint, this is an ORIGINAL c1880-1899
ANTIQUE TYPE-1 PHOTO. A "Type 1 Photo" is a first generation photograph, developed from the original negative, during the period.

Photo measures approximately 4 1/4" by 3 1/4" and displays beautifully, with no rips, tears, holes, creases, folds, or repairs.
Image is crisp and clear, with excellent contrast and focus, so it could be successfully enlarged, if desired.
