Beautiful looking vintage Omega gents automatic watch with reference 166.041.
Really very clean condition considering the year which is probably mid to late 1960's. Case and case back may well have been polished at some point, the case back has some minor marks, both the crystal and the dial are about as near to mint as you could imagine for the age, the crystal may not be original. The hands have one or two little marks and light scratches, applied gold tone indices are very clean as is the applied logo and the surround for the date window.
Watch is fitted with a new old stock genuine leather strap with aftermarket hardware, the rich blue colour nicely contrasting with the stainless case. The strap does have one or two blemishes from long term storage. If the asking price is met in full, we can supply and fit a different strap and/or hardware to the buyers taste, please contact us prior to purchase to discuss options.
As per the title, this watch has just (February 2025 - WSC South East, Theydon) had a full service completed at a cost of £325~. It is guaranteed for one year.
As you'd expect, the caliber 565 movement with 24 jewels is running and keeping time well, as it will for years to come.
