A Hamilton 14K yellow gold wristwatch in their Moderne / Mid Century Modern "Justin" model circa 1955, case approximately 25 by 36 mm., dial two tone with applied numeric hour indices, alpha hands with inset second hand dial at 6, mechanical movement, manual winding, outside of case marked HAMILTON and 14K with a J and arrow trademark, inside of case reads JUSTIN HAMILTON W CO LANCASTER PA 14K GOLD B11494 J arrow trademark (and some scratch numbers from servicing), movement reads HAMILTON 747 17 JEWELS ADJUSTED FS USA Y429281, with a gold tone, expandable band marked CHINA STAINLESS, in a very nice round black leatherette hinged and latched box with velveteen lining inside a square cardboard box --both marked HAMILTON, a few very minor surface scratches on case and one tiny scratch on crystal, with some discoloration on the edge of the dial from 2- 5 due to contact with the case but this does not show when assembled, otherwise in very good condition, watch winds, runs, sets normally and keeps good time. The back of the 14 karat gold case on its own weighs 4.1 dwt or 6.37 gr. and the case front is rather chunky. Gold in them there hills!
