Here we have what our research has identified as a thick curved Lucite round vanity stool, wheeled on casters, with cushioned seat, possibly leather, but definitely at least a very high-quality faux leather. Unmarked, but widely said to have been designed by Charles Hollis Jones, aka "Mr. Lucite," for Hill Manufacturing Company, in the 1970s. Heavy-duty piece in remarkable condition for its age and materials. Lucite is strong and stable, with no clouding, cracks, chips, or crazing. A few scattered light scrapes and scratches, but none that truly detract from the appearance, as shown in the photos. Seat is in excellent condition with just a few small dots of discoloration--holding together very well, with no pulled stitches, lumps, or excessive soiling. Casters roll well, but one is slightly shorter than the others, leading to a bit of a bumpy feel. We used only a dampened cloth to clean it up a bit, but went no further than that, no soap or any type of cleaner, so we imagine that this piece could really sparkle with very little effort at clean-up.

measurements:
We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report. Corndogcache is a 100% non-smoking environment, and we'll let you know if any of our vintage items smell like it (or anything else) from activities they may have been involved in before they came to us.
