Through cascading, you can control as many LED lights as possible with just one microcontroller pin. Each LED integrates a driver chip inside, making our LED intelligent and addressable. Each one has an 18mAh constant current drive, so the LED color will be very consistent, even if the voltage changes. There is no need for external resistors to limit the current and make the overall design of the RGB light ring slim. As you can see, it is easy to use with a 5V (working voltage is 4-7V) power source to drive this RGB light ring.
Single line communication can greatly reduce the pressure on the I/O port of the microcontroller. In addition, this RGB lamp uses the WS2812B driver chip, which allows the peripheral current to meet the circuit requirements with only one capacitor.
