Offering a pair of German Siemens 8" full-range speakers LSP22C. The 8-inch full-range LSP22C has an impedance of 5Ω, with external dimensions of 20cm diameter and 10.5cm depth.
Manufactured in the 1950s, the magnet is made by VAC (Vacuumschmelze Betrieb Berlin), which was famous as a subsidiary of Siemens. Both the cone and edge are free from scratches and deformation. The left speaker shows some fading due to sun exposure, but is in extraordinarily good conditionâhardly believable for a speaker from 60 years ago. The sub-cone maintains its firm shape with no scratches or deformation. The frame shows no notable scratches or deformation.
The sound is crisp and clear with excellent definition. These speakers handle all genres from jazz to classical. Looking at the frequency response, the sound extends naturally from low to high frequencies. At high frequencies, sound from the main cone and sub-cone interfere with each other, creating an excessively uneven response when measured at close range; however, at normal listening distances this interference does not occur, resulting in a smooth response.
