Alpine 3CD Sub Deck Changer 5981 with Magazine Audio Hi-Fi Vintage Japan
Description
This is an extremely rare genuine Alpine 1DIN 3CD sub-deck model 5981 from that era.
It is the second generation of Alpine's first 1DIN 3CD changer with 3D shuttle.
All functions work properly including CD playback (also plays CD-R), disk changes, and audio output when connected to the main deck.
It has undergone overhaul including mechanical adjustment, CD lens cleaning, and CD control board restoration, and is in good working condition. It can even play CD-R discs which were originally not supported.
Nearly 100% of these units fail, so one that works properly is quite rare.
The unit itself has only minor scratches and is in very clean condition, so it should still be usable for quite some time.
Since these rarely come on the market, would this be of interest to anyone looking for one?
