It's a classic deep forest green enamel with some light scuffs on the top outer wells, very minor scratches on the bottom (all to the paint only) and a bit of staining from previous pigments of watercolors. It shuts securely and is a hefty weight and incredibly well-made.
I am letting go of a few items from my collection and you'll find that this piece is one of their largest professional palettes produced and it also has the bonus of the extra removeable inner wells which gives a lot more painting space and options. A watercolourists dream!
This palette holds up to
30 full size pans of watercolours or gives three additional large spaces of mixing area to the painter. All fully coated brass, so it will never rust which is why these paintboxes are more expensive and prized by artists.
