Disneyland - Frontierland Park-Displayed Directional Signs Group of 9 (Walt Disney, c. 1970s-2000s). For many years, the splendid directional signs offered in this lot helped guests at Disneyland find their way in Frontierland. This beloved American frontier-themed area of the park opened along with the park on July 17, 1955. The wood signs featured in this lot hung in the park from the '70s to the 2000s, pointing in the direction of the places indicated, showcasing the name of Frontierland Freight Depot (measuring 17" × 6.75"), Keel Boats (17" × 4.75"), New Orleans Square - Critter Country (17" x 8.25"), Fantasyland - Tomorrowland (17" × 6.75"), Big Thunder Ranch (17" × 6.75"), Mark Twain's Steamboat (17" × 6.75"), Plaza (17" × 4.75"), and Rivers of America (17" × 8.25"). Overall, the signs show normal wear from being displayed at the park, such as scratches, scuffing, rust, and age-related fading. In good used condition.
